Susan Boyle was unknown a week ago now, after singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables" at an audition for Britain's Got Talent in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan she has been catapulted into international superstardom.

Ms Boyle gave an amazing rendition of the song in front of a stunned audience and the rest is history as they say. She has already been invited to Opreah Winfrey's show, has reduced Demi Moore to tears and appeared on Larry King Live.

A spokesman for Oprah Winfrey said that Susan Boyle had been seen by Oprah, who had invited her to be a guest on her show, but no dates were given.

A video clip of Susan Boyle's amazing performance on 'Britain's Got Talent' that can be seen on Youtube has so far been viewed more than 30 million times.

Ms Boyle has been interviewed on US talk shows, is apparently being invited on worldwide tours and is rumoured to have been invited to sign a duet with Hugh Jackman.

Ms Boyle certainly has a remarkable singing voice but so far had remained undiscovered in her small towm of Blackburn in West Lothian, Scotland.

She was was born in 1961, is an amateur singer and unemployed Scottish church volunteer and by her own admission has never been kissed. But now she is an international phenomenon and her life is set to change in ways that were unimaginable only 2 weeks ago. She has also been dubbed "The Woman Who Shut Up Simon Cowell".

Simon Cowell is now said to be in the processing of arranging a contract with his Syco Music company label for Ms Boyle.
